Maritsa Park

Maritsa Park - Maritsa Park is the largest park in the city. It starts with himself center and rests on the right bank of the river. Its creation began in 1952 and lasted until 1977. The park is a recreation area to the Central City part that is embedded in the second urban plan of Dimitrovgrad
(architect Petar Tashev). There are 1141 coniferous and 1209 deciduous in the park trees. They are separated into two massifs with a total area of 475 decares, between which it passes the large central alley. At the entrance to the park are the attractions Big bench, table, chair and lamp. In the near future the park will be renovated, as new attractions will appear for the residents and guests of the city
